Ran 7.5 miles in heat around 88 degrees or so. First run since leaving for Europe. First run in about 7 weeks. I did better than I thought I would on speed. I was at my normal running speed and my lungs were doing pretty well with it. Energy wise I was ok though I think I normally would be a lot stronger after only 7.5 miles, however I was not loaded up on carbs and hadnt drank as much water as I normally do on a run day, so I think I may have been stronger if I had a fueled up right. All in all it was a good showing after being out for 6 weeks and only having run once or twice in the heat. I'll be ready to run in 100 degrees again soon.
