Knocked 6 minutes off my PR for a 10K great race. was hoping to go sub 40:00 but I'm pretty happy with a 40:29. Ran pretty hard the whole way. Started off a bit too hard I think, First mile was in 6:06 I think I heard the split called at. Didn't pay attention after that. I may have been able to squeeze a little more out during the middle of the run if I had been paying attention to a watch and running a little harder, but I definitely gave it nearly everything I had. The last mile I turned back up the intensity and finished the final 1/4 mile at the same pace I started the race at and a sprint for the final 100m.

Not really interested in doing too many more 10K's, but we'll see.

8 mile night run, love night running. 7:26/mi pace. had a couple miles in the middle that i felt a tiny bit fatigued which was a result of weight lifting last night and maybe not eating any fuel before the run. if i had had a banana it probably wouldn't have happened.

really enjoyed the run. had about 1 mile of gradual incline ran upo it strong, ran down it very fast. im hoping that the CIM has a lot this type of downhill.

9 miles up to monkey head and back. practically sprinted up a quarter mile of uphill, had to slow down and catch my breath after that. I was also fighting off a cold this week, and looks like i made it, so that's good.
